Founded in 2001 by Ben Palmer-Ball, Digs began as a resource for people who took their outdoor spaces seriously. Ben recognized early what many retailers were slow to see: that the porch, the
patio, and the garden were becoming real rooms, places worth furnishing with the same care and intention as any space inside the home. Digs was the first in Louisville to respond to that shift,
and the store has been listening to its clients and evolving ever since.
Over the years, that outdoor expertise grew into something broader. Today, Digs carries fine quality interior furnishings alongside its outdoor collections, plus jewelry, wearables, and gifts that reflect the same standard of craft and consideration. The philosophy hasn't changed, only the square footage.
